Connect Google Calendar
timum can be synced with Google Calendar to keep your availability up to date: Google appointments block your time in timum, and bookings from timum appear in Google Calendar.
Setup
- Open your Personal Settings.
- In the Connected Calendar Accounts section, find the Google Calendar tile. Click Connect with Google.
- Sign in with your Google account and grant the required permissions.
- The connection belongs to your user account. From now on, you can use it in all provider calendars where you are a team member and have the necessary permissions:
- When creating a new property, select Import from Google. Each selected Google calendar becomes its own property.
- Or connect an existing property to one of your Google calendars: open the property's settings and click Connect calendar in the bar at the top of the dialog.
Functions
- Import: Google appointments are entered as blockers in timum.
- Export: Bookings from timum appear in Google Calendar.
- Multiple calendars: You can connect several Google calendars; each belongs to one property.
- Update: Google doesn't report changes on its own. timum re-reads your Google calendars roughly every 15 minutes – so changes in Google may take up to a quarter of an hour to appear in timum. Bookings from timum are written to Google immediately.
