Other Calendars (ICS)
You can connect Outlook, Google Calendar, and iCloud directly to timum (see below). For all other calendar programs – and to import your timum appointments into any calendar – there is the ICS standard: a subscription address that your calendar program retrieves at regular intervals.
Importing timum appointments into your calendar (export)
- In the provider calendar, open Settings → Integrations.
- In the Sync timum appointments to other calendar systems section, you will find two addresses:
- an internal address with customer data – for you and your team only, do not share it with third parties;
- a public address with all public appointments – suitable for customers and members.
- Copy the appropriate address and subscribe to it in your calendar program ("Subscribe to calendar", "From the internet", "iCalendar feed", or similar).
New and changed appointments then appear automatically. How quickly depends on your calendar program's refresh interval.
Including external calendars in timum (import)
To have appointments from an external calendar block your time in timum, use the direct connections: Outlook, Google Calendar or iCloud. They reliably import blockers and write bookings back.
Supported calendars (export via ICS)
- Apple Calendar – or directly via the iCloud connection
- Thunderbird
- Yahoo Calendar
- HCL Notes (formerly Lotus Notes), see Sync Lotus Notes
- any calendar with ICS support
