Resource Channels

Every property has multiple booking channels. Each channel is its own booking link with its own rules: whoever books via it books according to that channel's settings. This way you can offer the same calendar publicly while giving selected contacts exclusive access.

You will find the channels in the property menu under Appointment Booking - Settings.

Channel Types

  • Standard Booking Link: the general link for emails, websites, portals, property listings, notices, and flyers. Use Copy to grab the link, and Link Image to get a booking graphic with QR code.
  • Second Booking Link: a second access with its own rules – for example only for pre-qualified prospects or for a different appointment type. Use Invite to send it directly. To learn how to send it automatically from onOffice, see Second Booking Route for Exclusive Contacts.
  • Selection (limited appointment choice): the rules for links you generate from individual appointments or availabilities selected in the calendar (click on appointment → "Selection"). This is how you invite a contact to exactly three appointment options. Instructions: Exclusive Appointment Invitation.
  • Embedded Booking Calendars: the rules for the widget on your own website. For this, the property needs a reference number, which you assign here with Create (see Embed Widget).
  • Website Plugin Views and Overall Calendar: controls whether the property appears in your overall calendar (timum.de/your-name) and in Booking Channels with multiple properties. Off by default for real estate, usually on for consultants.

You can disable each channel via the eye symbol; the property and its appointments are then hidden via this channel.

Channel Settings

  • Booking Type: "bookable" – appointments are booked directly; "requestable" – appointments are noted as a request and await your confirmation (see Request vs. Direct Booking).
  • Advance Booking Period: defines how many minutes in advance a booking must be made at the latest. At 1440 minutes (24 hours), prospects can no longer book appointments that are less than 24 hours in the future.
  • Gapless Allocation: forces booked appointments to be lined up without gaps. The first customer can freely choose any available time within the availability; all further bookings are only possible for directly adjacent appointments (immediately before or after) (see Gapless Appointment Scheduling).
  • Occupied Appointments: By default, occupied appointments do not appear. When set to "visible", already booked bookable appointments are shown as "Occupied" – completely anonymously. Non-bookable personal appointments never appear.
  • Provider Contact Details: whether the contact details of the responsible person appear on the booking page – "visible", "hidden when fully booked", or "hidden" (see Hide Appointment Coordinator Contact Details).
  • Bookable Appointment Types: "Property defaults" or "Selection" – defines which appointment types are offered on this property's availabilities via this channel. Already created bookable appointments retain their own appointment type.

Defaults for new properties

Under Settings → Process Settings you can define the same settings as defaults for all newly created properties – per channel.
