Creating Bookable Appointments
Bookable appointments are offered times with a set appointment type and a set number of participant places that customers can book into – unlike availabilities, which only define the framework for possible appointments: within it, customers choose from the appointment types offered, and an appointment is only created when they book.
When to use
- For specific events such as open houses or group viewings
- When you want to offer fixed times instead of flexible time ranges
- For one-off appointments on specific days
How to create bookable appointments
- In the calendar, open the resource menu (arrow next to the property name) and select Set bookable appointments. Alternatively, click the desired time range in the calendar and select the option from the context menu.
- In the Create appointment(s) dialog, choose the appointment type and optionally an custom subject, the assigned user (default: the person responsible for the property), and the meeting point.
- Set the start and end (of the last appointment) as well as the duration per appointment and the number of appointments. Several consecutive appointments – for example 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00 – are generated automatically from the duration and number. Buffer time before and follow-up time are taken from the appointment type; you can adjust them here.
- For group appointments, increase participants per appointment.
- Leave Bookable announced switched on and save with Save as bookable. (If switched off, a personal appointment is created that customers cannot book.)
Recurring appointments
For recurring bookable appointments, switch on Recurring (across days/weeks) in the dialog and set the recurrence – for example every Saturday until an end date.
