Getting Started
There are two ways to get started with timum: direct registration on our website or integration via onOffice. Choose the path that best suits your situation.
Path 1: Direct Registration
The fastest way to your first bookable calendar – directly via the timum website.
1. Register
Visit our website and click "Register". After entering some information, timum automatically creates your user account, your Account and your first Provider Calendar (Provider).
2. Confirm your email
You will receive an email to confirm your address. Click the link to activate your account.
3. Log in
Log in with your credentials. You will land in your Provider Calendar.
4. Create a property
Use Add Property to create your first Property – this can be a piece of real estate, an employee, or a consultation room.
Activate property
5. Create an appointment type
On the Appointment types page, create an appointment type, e.g. "Viewing" (30 min) or "Consultation" (60 min), and check the Standard box for the property that should offer it.
6. Set up availability or appointments
Choose between:
- Consultation hours and working hours – rules from which timum generates recurring availabilities
- Manual availabilities – flexible time ranges as needed, in the property menu via Offer available consultation hours
- Bookable appointments – fixed appointments for specific occasions, in the property menu via Set bookable appointments
7. Set the booking type
In the property menu, open Appointment booking - Settings and set for each Resource Channel whether customers book directly ("bookable") or make a request ("requestable"). There you'll also find the lead time, the display of your contact details, gapless appointment scheduling and more.

8. Share the link or embed the widget
Choose how you want to reach customers:
- Standard booking link for the property: Copy it from Appointment booking - Settings; there you'll also find a booking graphic with QR code under Link image.
- Booking Channel: On the Appointment booking page, create your own link with a readable URL – for embedding, for multiple properties under one address, or if you want to add properties later without changing the link.
How to reach your customers:
- Share the link via email or WhatsApp (or a messenger of your choice)
- Add the QR code of the booking link to listings on platforms such as ImmobilienScout24
- Print the QR code and place it in your shop window next to your opening hours
- Embed the widget on your website
Path 2: Getting started via onOffice (for real estate agents)
If you use onOffice, you can activate timum directly via the Marketplace and integrate it seamlessly into your workflow.
timum for Agents vs. timum for Estates
1. Activate in the onOffice Marketplace
- Log in to onOffice
- Open the Marketplace
- Search for "timum" and activate timum for Agents
2. Open the onOffice calendar
In onOffice, navigate to the built-in onOffice calendar. After activation, you'll find a new tab there called "Appointment booking".
3. Become bookable or just observe
The first time you click "Appointment booking", you'll be asked:
- Be bookable: timum creates an agent resource (chargeable) for your onOffice user. You can then be booked by customers.
- Just observe: You see the calendar but are not bookable yourself.
4. Appointments are imported
If you choose "bookable", timum asks onOffice for all appointments you are linked to and imports them into timum as Blockers. The more timum knows about your appointments, the better it can prevent double bookings.
5. Working in the calendar
After setup, you land in the calendar and see all imported bookable agents (resources) on the left side. From here you can:
- Define consultation hour rules
- Create Booking Channels
- Adjust Resource Channel settings
- Share booking links or embed widgets
Activate resource
For more details on these steps, see Path 1: Direct Registration (steps 4–8).
